Interior Demolition in EdmontonStripped to Shell.
Trade-Ready.
Whole floors and whole units taken back to base building — walls, ceilings, flooring, millwork and fixtures out, without touching what stays.
The Scope
Interior Strip-Outs
An interior strip-out is the trade before every other trade. If it runs late, everything behind it runs late; if it is left half-clean, the next crew spends their first day doing your demo contractor's job. We scope it on site, put enough crew on it to hold the date, and hand it over broom-clean.
Who this is for: Offices and office towers, retail units, plazas and strip malls, restaurants and commercial kitchens, institutional buildings, and the built-out office areas inside warehouses and manufacturing plants.

Flooring
Tile, sheet goods, carpet and underlay, VCT and adhesive residue, taken back to a slab the installer can work on.
Millwork & fixtures
Casework, counters, shelving, display and back-of-house fit-out stripped and removed.
Mechanical & electrical strip
Redundant ducting, diffusers, fixtures and devices removed to the demarcation your consultants set.
Debris management & haul

Interior Strip-Outs FAQ
Can you work while neighbouring units are trading?
Yes, and on most retail and office work that is the condition of the job. Dust barriers, floor and storefront protection, controlled access and off-hours work where the landlord requires it.
Do you need a full demolition permit for interior work?
Usually not — in Edmonton, interior-only scopes run through a Selective Interior Demolition application rather than a full demolition permit. We confirm which one your scope falls under at the estimate.
How do you handle the parts that stay?
They get protected before anything comes down, and the scope of what stays is agreed in writing at the walkthrough. Structure-sensitive work is priced as selective demolition, not as a strip-out.
